Master Bathroom Design Ideas in 2019

DUELING SINKS

In a California beach bungalow designed by Chad Eisner, symmetrical sinks flank the sides of the master bath.

BLACK TILES

In the expansive shower of this modern beach house, the walls are clad in dark porcelain tiles which soar up to a wall-to-wall skylight. A built-in niche stores shampoo and other essentials.

CHOCOLATE WALLS

A floating bathtub and brown grasscloth walls instantly cozy up a Pennsylvania farmhouse's master tub. Just include bath salts and some fluffy towels .

OLD-WORLD WAINSCOTING

Back at the 18th-century when this Massachusetts farmhouse was constructed, there wasn't any such thing for a master tub. So architect Michael T. Gray and interior designer Hattie Holland carved one out of a hallway and added wainscoting and window casings to create a sense of yesteryear.

CHIC CONSOLE

Designer David Kleinberg established the look of the traditional bath's sink-stand on a French iron console.

GRAND ENTRY

With a set of French doors which open up to a balcony, designer Barry Dixon fashioned a Washington D.C. bathroom to function as the home spa. The corner table is for sipping morning coffee when lounging in a bathrobe.
